Why Crushing Your Interview Isn't Enough

Actions speak louder than words.

If there's one lesson to remember every day for the rest of your career, it's that.

Especially for salespeople. We're generally great at talking ourselves up, we're generally great at making big promises, convincing promises. But in sales those words only get you so far.

You crushed your interview? Great job. You SHOULD crush your interview. That's a given. Now you need to go crush your job every single day without complaining, without making excuses, without letting the inevitable sales sh*t storm beat you down to your lowest form.

The job title doesn't define you. Being employed doesn't define you. Your fancy Rolex doesn't define you, and your utopian Instagram profile definitely doesn't define you. None of that is real.

Being absolutely extraordinary at your craft is what defines you. THAT is real. None of it is a facade. You either have it or you don't. You either deliver or you don't.

Step up today. Get focused and deliver on all the promises you made in your very first interview. Then do it again tomorrow and repeat until you're ready to retire wealthy.

Success is a choice. It's up to you whether you choose it each day or not.
