Why Work-Life Balance Is a Load of Bullsh*t

There’s a lot of talk about work-life balance. Why are so many people assuming that work and life need to be two separate things?

If you’re doing work that you don’t enjoy, you should stop doing it.

Jeff Bezos, the wealthiest person in the world insists that the phrase “work-life balance” is bullsh*t. He talks about work-life harmony.

When your work meshes pleasantly into your life, that’s when you’re winning.

It’s not about working M-F and taking the nights and weekends off. If you need to structure your life that way it probably means you have no passion for your work.

Jim Koch, founder of Boston Beer Company (Sam Adams) says “if you enjoy what you do, you never work a day in your life”.

Jim may drink a lot, but he knows what he’s talking about.

Don’t sacrifice your happiness for work. The two should go hand-in-hand.
