Why You Need To Stop Using Out-Of-Office Replies When On Vacation

SDR’s-- out of office replies are a bad idea.

A prospect just emailed you back. They took the time to contact you. Don't immediately hit them with the "hey i'm on the beach and too busy doing me to respond"

Instead, while you're OOO, if you choose to completely disconnect and not stay up to date on your emails at night (which is totally fine) ask one of your co-workers to cover for you and setup auto-forwarding of your emails to them.

Don't let your vacation become an inconvenience for your prospects. You worked too hard to get them to the point of actually emailing you. Don't tell them they now need to email someone else or wait while you drink piña coladas.
