Top Salespeople don't just crush their quota, they make everyone else's job easier who comes after them.
Weak Salespeople:
- Lie by omission
- Ignore sales objections making them CS objections
- Make false promises that become problems later
Top Salespeople:
- Take pride in 0% churn from their deals
- Anticipate and address objections beforehand
- Offer support to the onboarding team
The main differentiator is that Top Salespeople care about the business, not just their own commission. They acknowledge that for them to succeed long-term, the business must as well.
Crushing quota isn't all it takes to be a top performer. The quality of your deals is ultimately the differentiating factor that defines your ability.
This is exponentially easier when selling a great product... Always sell great products.
